Rooms at Dynjandi

Our farm Dynjandi is situated directly on the ring road (þjóðvegur / Road 1) in Southeast Iceland, with majestic views of the Vatnajökull ice cap and the closest glaciers only 20 minutes away. The famous Vestrahorn is just a few minutes to the east, making a stay at our place the perfect starting point for photography, hiking tours, or your onward journey. And of course we would be more than happy to take you on a small tour around our farm and meet our horses!

We have three rooms available for our guests, open throughout the year: a cozy twin bed room, a standard double room and a large double room that includes a comfortable lounge area.

There is free Wi-Fi throughout the guest house, and breakfast is of course included. The common room also provides a kettle (with free tea and coffee) and toaster and a small fridge. The rooms share three separate bathrooms in the adjacent bath house (all fully equipped with showers and toilets), and an additional powder room (toilet & sink) in the main building.

The town of Höfn with a wide selection of restaurants – ranging from choices for a small budget to gourmet dining – is just a few minutes away. We do not have kitchen facilities.

Double Room

Queen sized double bed (140x200cm). Small seating area. Wi-Fi and access to three shared bathrooms. Breakfast included.

Large Dbl Room

Queen sized double bed (140x200cm). Seating area with couch and table. Extra kettle / tea / coffee in the room. Wi-Fi and access to three shared bathrooms. Breakfast included.
